9:45 A.M.              Erin Breen- Keynote Speaker and Recipient of the Toastmasters  International Communication & Leadership Award.

Erin is an Emmy Award winning journalist and member of the Nevada Broadcasters Hall of Fame with 3 decades of experience as a journalist.  She spent 18 years as an evening news anchor and five years writing documentaries for public television and contributing to NPR.  She is also the author of two books, Finding Bliss and For the Love of Storytelling.  Her weekly newspaper column, Erin Breen’s Family File has appeared in the Reno Gazette Journal since 2000 and is now in syndication.  She is currently the anchor for KTVN’s  Channel 2 News This Morning.

Erin lives in Reno, Nevada with her husband and three children and enjoys writing, spending time with her kids and going to the beach.
